The length of time to complete renovations depends upon the complexity of the project. Steps involved during the process are as follows with the interior and exterior finishes occurring simultaneously during construction.

Planning:

• Preliminary planning and estimating includes 3-D computer visualization technology for you to see the renovated space once the plans are complete, pre-wiring for security and computers and planning the space requirements for the entertainment equipment.
• Construction agreement signed by the homeowner and builder
• Interior and exterior materials and colors are selected

Structure Preparation:

• Demolition

Rough Construction:

• Floor and walls
• Sheeting and wrap
• Exterior windows and doors
• Roof structure sheeting
• Roofing material
• Trades roughed in for electrical, plumbing, HVAC
• Insulation

Interior Finish:

• Drywall
• Paint
• Cabinets and countertops
• Hard surface flooring, tile and marble
• Interior doors and trim

Exterior Finish:

• Final Paint and trim
• Decks and porches
• Lot completion/landscaping
• Driveway

Closing:

• Final inspection
• Final walk through with owner
• Final punch list items completed
• Close and deliver completed structure
